# PHP Developer

[Worldly Developments](https://worldlydevelopments.com/) › PHP Developer

Wanted: An excellent back-end programmer with considerable PHP experience who will help code the site. Experience with the Symfony framework is a major bonus, as is familiarity with MySQL, Unix system administration, or any other OO/MVC framework.

## What the work covers

- Back-end code for [Plancast](http://plancast.com/), the site being developed
- PHP in the LAMP stack, the ground the existing code sits on
- The Symfony framework, a major bonus rather than a requirement
- MySQL, Unix system administration, or any other OO/MVC framework

## What the role calls for

A high degree of coding proficiency, self-motivation, optimism, and communication ability. But most of all, an incessant itch to make cool and useful things from scratch, since that is what a startup is essentially all about.
